Not a place of dreams but a place where dreams have come true .
A place full of people having numerous stories at every corner .
A place where temples are not just a land of worship for people but a place
around which their lives revolve .
A place that is not just talked about its elderly existence but also its architecture , traditional art ,
religious places and a lot more .
SHIVAJINAGAR
There is something about Shivajinagar that makes it hidden and not acknowledged among the urban civilized neighbourhoods but still so demanded .
Before visiting the site , shivajinagar to us was just a bus - stop . Being visited for the first time , we realised that it was a town in its self which had a lot to offer .
Unaware of the streets , unaware of the people , we started off our journey with just a list of places that we had never heard of .
After a few visits , we became quite aware of the area . we nearly touched all boundaries and got to know so much , that we had never even thought of . we explored a lot about their tradition and culture , religion , temples , society etc etc ...
When we went on speaking to people , all of them had a different story to narrate , some talked about the miracles and the incidents , while some talked about the history and existence .
By gathering the information me and my group mates ( media group ) plan to put up a gallery space and exhibiting the major incidents that have taken place over the years using different mediums like photography , digital media , posters etc. and showing the transition that have taken place , the impact that it has left on the society and how people have accepted it !!!
Overall , it was an amazing experience for me , and after going there i could actually feel the essence of the place and the norms and traditions it still holds .
