A million thoughts..a few field visits

I’ve been working within Shivaji Nagar for a while now, this course and the previous one. Every time I walk around I always have a different experience. In this course we were to design a walk for the area, showing the various sights and hidden locations around this greatly historic place.
Originally my idea of the walk was creating something that one could use on his or her own without a guide to walk them around. This way a person can experience the space for them selves and pick what they want to see. In this idea I thought of designing a layered map with various spots of Shivaji Nagar that are worth a visit!
But I didn’t carry this idea forward.
The one reason why I wanted to design an individual map was because I feel the best experience of this area is when done alone by ones self. This way one has a choice of what they wish to see or do.
But right now I’m working with the performing arts, so we have to find the talent hidden in this busy trade obsessed place. It was quite difficult as in the beginning I didn’t even know where to begin, at first! But as we got on, with more visits things did start to clear. But even when it did, I still wasn’t sure of what I really was aiming for, should we put up a skit? Or a musical? Or just a simple story telling session?
I was quite clueless. But after hearing a few positive responses I did feel a little better about it. And, hopefully this performance will be like expected! :)
