Informal Cities are generally found everywhere . Most of the time ,the aspects of it go unnoticed. Nobody pays attention to these clearly seen details that make up their surroundings . It is usually never given a second thought upon .

The Informal aspects of the city would be illegal encroachment of areas , hidden practices etc.

Shivajinagar showcases some Informal aspects. The various streets with their specialities seemed to encourage it . The vendors on the sidewalks , encroaching the roads and creating traffic is an aspect of an Informal City.

In some cases the aspects seem to disrupt the serenity of the location whereas, in cases like of Shivajinagar , they add charm and essence to it . If not for the chaotic , informal surroundings  Shivajinagar would be subdued.
