Mythic City.

The 'Mythic City' revealed the bonding of the author with the city - Bombay/ Mumbai. It spoke about the city being so glorious despite of the cultural differences it faces . The dark sides of the city were spoken about . It also speaks about how the flashy magazines publish the creamy aspects of the city and ignore the underlying , illegal issues that need awareness and improvement. 

People are seem to be numb to such conditions , they ignore these issues and move on with life. And its also true that people do not have time in their busy schedules to look into such matters . 

Amidst all the mess , the beauty of the city stands at its glory.

Shivajinagar consists of these dark patches as well . There is garbage lying on the streets , and people walk past it . The area near the Beef Market has the organelles of the animals being slaughtered and burnt in the open . 

Though there are some disturbing sights , the charm of Shivajinagar is not yet lost .

For example : the garbage lying in the streets , the mismanaged drainage system , broken houses, the commuter-hour traffic etc.
