Formally Informal

Informal city happens to be an increasingly complex and growing phenomenon which affects mainly the middle class or the so called 'developing world' and probably also gives them employment.Due to the product of globalization and industrialization we are facing the basic concept of informal. It gives diversity, and challenges policies and implementations which could be too traditional in approach.
It also happens to be a product of advanced capitalism and efforts of entrepreneurship by mainly architects, artists and other practitioners. It makes goods and services cheaper and life more comfortable. It effects more than just the surface layers of the economy, which
Whether its a good thing or a bad thing is a question unanswered, since experimentation is the key answer. The risks with which it comes is a risk we have to take.
In relation to Shivajinagar i found prominent areas of informal approach.Since it is a vast area,it isnt visibly shown but as we go through the place in detail we can see the informality clearly appearing. We can also notice through the eyes of socio-economic,political and spatial arrangement present.
